Openness toward casual sex and rejection of sexual mores was discovered to have an association with perceived provider deception. Essence of sex (i.e., the factor reflecting the intimate, relational, and pleasurable qualities of sex) was associated with PrEP conspiracy beliefs and marginally associated with perceived provider deception.
