“Experiences of stress and social safety among sexual and gender minority youth by disability status” has just been published in Disability and Health Journal!
The current study examined differences in wellbeing among SGM youth by disability category (i.e., physical, developmental, psychiatric) across victimization, bullying, dating violence, school safety, and experienced stress. Overall it was found that SGM youth with disabilities fare worse than SGM youth who do not report having a disability on all of these aforementioned outcomes.
