New Paper Alert: Sexual identity disclosure and alcohol experiences among LGBTQ+ adolescents

“Sexual identity disclosure and alcohol experiences among LGBTQ+ adolescents” has just been published in Behavioral Medicine!

The study sought to determine whether ​​sexual identity outness may be another factor that drives alcohol use among SGMY. Ultimately findings revealed that SGMY with greater outness to peers, friends, and family did in fact have greater odds of lifetime alcohol use compared with SGMY characterized by lower outness.
