Check out “The interplay of familial warmth and LGBTQ+ specific family rejection on LGBTQ+ adolescents’ self-esteem” which has been published in Journal of Adolescence! 

The study evaluated the associations between family dynamics and self-esteem among cisgender and transgender and nonbinary LGBTQ+ adolescents. It established that familial warmth is positively linked to self-esteem while family rejection is negatively associated with self-esteem.
